Platinum Electric Low-Clearance Recess Kit
The Platinum Electric Low-Clearance Recess Kit is a premium recess kit that allows Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat™ Electric heaters to be discreetly recessed into the ceiling – even where space is limited. The kit is designed to allow flush mounting in ceiling joists with ceiling depths down to approximately 180mm , while maintaining all safety distances and temperatures in a controlled manner.
The integrated temperature control frame and built-in cooling fan allow the kit to reduce installation clearance in the ceiling without compromising safety or performance. All necessary hardware for flush mounting of the Platinum and Platinum Marine series is included, providing a clean, minimalist solution where the heater almost disappears visually into the ceiling.
Benefits
- Enables recessed, flush mounting in ceilings with low installation height (ceiling depth from approx. 180 mm)
- Integrated temperature control frame reduces required installation distances
- Built-in cooling fan with separate power supply for safe operation even in confined spaces
- Comes complete with parts and mounting hardware for Platinum and Platinum Marine series
- Gives a modern, minimalist look where the heater blends into the ceiling
- Suitable for both new production and retrofitting/renovation
Areas of use
Perfect for terraces, conservatories, pergolas, balconies, outdoor dining areas and other premium outdoor environments where design, ceiling height and lines are at least as important as comfort.
Compatibility
The kit is intended for flush mounting of:
- Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat™ Electric
- Bromic Platinum Marine
Available in several power ratings (e.g. 2300 W, 3400 W, 4500 W). Always check the product sheet and installation instructions for exact model and power matching.
Installation
Important: The kit requires a separate power supply to the built-in cooling fan, independent of the heater's electrical connection. Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician and in accordance with Bromic's installation manual and applicable electrical and fire safety regulations.
